John Hayes

Mr. John Hayes, 86, of Crandall, passed away Thursday April 9, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late, Trammell and Fannie Dunn Hayes and was preceded in death by his wife, Odell Hayes; sisters, Betty Caldwell and Dee Brock; niece, Glenda Caldwell and a nephew Fred Brock.
John was a member of Sumach-Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He loved hunting and fishing.

He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

John is survived by his daughter, Debra Hayes of Crandall; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Charles Hansard of Tucker, GA; granddaughter, Dana (Dale) Hurst of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews, Claudelle Kubin, Pat Brock, Mary (Trammell) Dooley, Lonnie (Vanessa) Caldwell, Michael Caldwell, Lori (Tony) McCollum, Chuck (Kelly) Hansard and Kim Hansard; brothers-in-law, Ruben Bagley, Donald Bagley; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Avanell and Roy Witt.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sumach-Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bret Yaeger and the Rev. Tom Clark officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m.
