Lloyd Bruce Hilliard

Mr. Lloyd Bruce Hilliard, 55, of the Carbondale Community, passed away, Monday December 22, 2008 at the Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, GA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Pulliam Hilliard; grandparents, Master Pulliam and Elizabeth Pulliam; mother-in-law, Gladys Shelton; sister-in-law, Linda Gail Bearden; aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Joanne Shelton Hilliard of Carbondale; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer Lynn and Donnie York and Angela Dianne and Todd Griffin all of Carbondale; father, Harold Hilliard of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Joan Hilliard of Cohutta; grandchildren, Preston York, Savannah York and Riley Griffin; special uncle and aunt, Barrett and Beverly Pulliam of Dalton; special buddy, David Shelton of Dalton; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be 3 P. M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Guffey and Donnie York officiating.

Burial will follow in Swamp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 9 P.M.
