Mr. Terry David Bartenfield, 62, of Dalton passed away Thursday May 7, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was the son of the late Ruth Hill Young and Glen Henry Bartenfield and was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Bartenfield and Bill Bartenfield; nieces, Kim Bartenfield and Tammy Bartenfield and a sister-in-law, Mary Bartenfield.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Tera Beason and fiancé David Quinn of Dalton, Caroline and Justin Patty of Chatsworth, Tiffany York and fiancé Joshua Bailey of Calhoun, Terry Lee Smith of Dalton; twin-brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Willadean Bartenfield of Resaca, brothers and sister-in-law, Robert and Linda Bartenfield of Resaca and John Bartenfield of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Glennie and Grady Rittenhouse of Ellijay; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bartenfield of Resaca; grandchildren, Jordan Ivey, Kelsey Ivey, John Beason, Amber Beason, Jacob Patty, Erin Phillips, Jada McCollum, Emmie Grace York, Brycen Moore, Lily Patty and Emma Patty; great-grandchild, Adelynn Lane Ivey; nephews, Scott Bartenfield, Chuck Bartenfield and Stuart Bartenfield; nieces, Kim Franks, Cindy Thompson and Sharon Rittenhouse.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday from Mineral Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Delashmit officiating.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mineral Springs United Methodist Church, c/o Sara Rogers 3675 Airport Rd. Dalton, GA 30721 or to the American Cancer Society, 200 West Emery St., Suite 3, Dalton, GA 30720.
