Stella "Louise" Queen

Mrs. Stella “Louise” Whitener Queen, 72, of Dalton went to be with the Lord Monday, May 11, 2015 at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Carl Bennett and Ethel Parker Bennett and was preceded in death by her first husband, Taylor Whitener; son, David Whitener and brothers and sisters.

Louise was a member of Little Prospect Baptist Church and was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

She is survived by her husband, Jonnie L. Queen of the residence; daughter, Connie Whitener of Dalton; sons, Randy Whitener and Ashley Keith of Dalton, Chris Queen of Varnell and Lamar Queen of Seguin, TX; sister, Lois Bearden of Summerville; brother, Charles Bennett of Dalton; grandchildren, Amanda Tripp, Brittany Whitener, Christopher Eves, Christopher Queen, Ashlye Queen, Jessica Garcia, Patrick Garcia, Kayla Garcia and Christian Queen; great-grandchildren, Carter and Aliva Tripp and other great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friend, Sherry Green of Signal Mountain, TN.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Payne officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or the family asks that memorials be made to one’s favorite charity.
