Vernell Cook Mann

Mrs. Vernell Cook Mann, 80, of Dalton passed away Friday, May 15, 2015.
She was the daughter of the late Farley and Bessie Cook and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Mann in 2003; sister, Bertice Jones; brothers, Hollis Cook and Jerome Cook and daughter-in-law, Donna Silvers King.
Vernell is survived by her children, Lee Hardin (Bill) of Roanoke, VA, Steven Asa King of Dalton, Rick King (Ellen) of Dalton, Bob Mann (Mary White) of Dunwoody, Mundy Rado (Tim) of Lawrenceville, and Leslie Mallard (Robert) of Norcross; grandchildren, Lilly, Miles and Davis Hardin, Kimberly, Garrett and Jeffrey Mann, Courtney Hitchens (Jack), Andy King, Sarah Akines, Bobby Akines (Jacquelyn), Rebecca Rado, and Shayna, Evan, Daniel and Micah Rosenthal; great-grandchildren, Asher Akines and Jackson Hitchens. The family would like to thank Lecretia Gonthier for her care of Vernell.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Monday from 11 until 1.
