Dora Lee White

Mrs. Dora Lee Bennett White, 87, of Chatsworth, GA., died Monday, January 5, 2009 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late, Wesley Davis Bennett and Lona Wimpey Bennett; was a long time member of the Mt. Rachel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. “Bob” White; sisters, Lela Greenway, Eula Mae Thompson, Neta Thompson and Mary Lou Newton; brothers, Cleaburn Bennett and Arvil Bennett and her special granddaughter, Janna Johnson.
Dora Lee is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and L. D. Faw of Dalton; sons and daughters-in-law, Weems and Nedra White, Bobby and Dorene White all of Dalton; sister, Essie West of Dalton; grandchildren, Wendy and David Ensley, Amy and Burke Hayes, Tracy and Bill Grissett, Stacy and Nick Beason, Heather and Glen Johnson and Joshua Faw; great-grandchildren, Cody and Carly Ensley, Conner and Donovon Hayes, Caden Johnson, Emily and Will Grissett and Evie Beason; nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Thursday at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Dr. Larry Wood officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Wednesday from
5 to 8 P.M.
