Officer Paul Sparks,

Officer Paul Sparks, 54, of Ringgold, GA. and formerly of Dalton, died Saturday, January 10, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Sparks.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Suzanne Sparks of Ringgold; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Bailey Sparks and Martha of Nashville, TN., Billy Harton and Kristi of Anderson, S.C.; daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Patrick Perry of Augusta, GA.; Paul’s pride and joy, grandson, Harrison Perry; mother, Vivian Sparks of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Sabra Sparks of Dalton; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. at the Dalton First Baptist Church with the Dr. Bill Wilson, the Rev. Ray Camp and Officer Randy Evans officiating.
The family will receive friends in the atrium of the church Wednesday from Noon to 2 P.M.
The family request flowers be omitted and Paul’s wish is for memorials to be made in his memory, for his nephew who was killed in an automobile accident, to the Sam Cox Memorial Scholarship Trust, c/o Alabama-West Florida United Methodist Foundation, P.O. Box 8066, Dothan, Al. 36304.
