Mrs. Eardice Smith Defore Cantrell, 95, of Dalton, died Sunday, February 19, 2006.
She was the daughter of the late, J. J. and Fannie Lou Cagle Smith and was preceded in death by her husbands, Clayborn Defore and Leonard Cantrell; sons, Jack Defore and Charles Smith; sisters, Mattie Gordon, Pearl Rogers, Oma Croy; brothers, J. C. Smith and Harlan Smith.
Eardice was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Joan and Glen Ridley and Iola Smith all of Dalton.
Daughter-in-law, Barbara McCullough of Dalton
Sisters-in-law, Lovena Smith and Willie Mae Defore both of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Glenda Fisher, Carol Tousignant, June Rogers, Cindy Davis, Tony Defore, James Defore and Celia Cantrell.
13 Great-Grandchildren.
11 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Special Niece, Pat Cooper
Other Nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Caldwell and the Rev. Billy Cantrell officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 8 P.M..
