Minnie Ruth Shuler

Mrs. Minnie Ruth Saylors Shuler, 81, of Dalton passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Dock Saylors and Inez Fletcher Saylors and was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Crow. Minnie was a graduate of Valley Point High School, was retired from Shaw Industries and attended Crown View Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by her loving family: daughters and son-in-law, Denise and Raymond “Catfish” Morrison of Rocky Face and Carmen Elaine Shuler of Dalton; grandchildren, Miranda Morrison, Melisa Morrison, Zachary White and Zane White; sisters and brother-in-law, Billie Williams and Essie and Robert Smith of Dalton; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at Noon in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. David Friend and the Rev. Larry Wood officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Monday from 11 to Noon. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Crown View Baptist Church, 502 West Tyler Street, Dalton, Ga. 30720.
