Michael B. Kuhne

Mr. Michael B. Kuhne, 65, of Dalton, formally of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday July 18, 2015. He was preceded in death by his dad, Stanley B. Kuhne; grandparents E.B. & Hazel Wilson and Irvin Stanley & Martha Kuhne. Mike was employed in the food vending business for 42 years, retiring this past October from Five Star Foods. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army 4th Infantry Division; Lifetime member of the Dalton Elks Lodge where is a past Exalted Ruler; Lifetime member of the Dalton Golf & Country Club; Member of the American Legion Post 112 and an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nye Kuhne of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly & Scott Stone of Cleveland, TN and Kelley & Scott McAllister of Dalton; grandchildren, Garrett, Delaney and Bronson Stone, Mallory and Makenna McAllister; mother, Artie Kuhne of Chattanooga; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin & Teresa Kuhne of Chattanooga; sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Gene Nelson of Lenoir TN; mother-in-law, Betty Nye of Chattanooga; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Larry & Ginger McMillen of Anna Maria Island FL and several special nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Darey Kittle officiating. Burial will follow in The Chattanooga National Cemetery at 12:30 PM with American Legion Post 112 in charge of Military Honors.
