Freida Lucille Blalock

Mrs. Freida Lucille McCandless Blalock, 84, formerly of Dalton passed away Wednesday July 29, 2015. She graduated from Dalton High School, class of 1948, and was a member of Central Church of Christ. Freida is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jack Blalock of St. Cloud FL; children Brenda (Gary) Tracy of St. Cloud FL, Linda Stockbridge of Athens AL and Pat Schweiger of Dearborn MI; brother, Harris Daniel McCandless of Allen Park MI; grandchildren, Patricia LA Rocca, Jon (Leslie) Stockbridge, Jack Allen Sayre, Rob Keywood and Alisha Schweiger; Great-grandchildren, Brittany (Ryan) Kumpf, Melissa Kumpf, Max Mueth, Cody Stockbridge, Samantha Keywood, Amber Sayre, and Tim Sayre; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden Wheeler, Wesley Wheeler, James Alexander, Damian Alexander and Malakai Machado Sayre; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev, George Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Dawnville.
