Ronald Stone

Mr. Ronald Stone, 71, of Dalton passed away Friday, August 7, 2015. He was the son of the late Fred and Lillie Duvall Stone and was preceded in death by his brothers, Farnell Waldrop, Carl Stone and Harold Stone; sisters, Dimple Parker, Ruth Skidmore, Opal Carr and Betty Stone. Ronald loved fishing and his pets. He worked and managed several area convenience stores. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Bailey Stone of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Ralph Cannon of Molena, GA; daughter, Crystal Stone of Dalton; son, Anthony Phillip Stone of Dalton; twin brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Linda Stone of Dalton; grandchildren, Jacklyn (Paul) Williams and Michael LaTella; great-grandchildren, Robert Foster, Jacob Howard, Zain Williams, and Brennan Williams; nieces and nephews; his beloved pets. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 3 PM in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Hamm and nephew, Steve Skidmore officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery with Rocky Skidmore, Brian Jackson, Chet Carr, Jeff Jackson, Scott Jackson, Jason Etheridge, and David Etheridge serving as pallbearers.
