Mr. Thomas Milton Berry, 79, of Dalton, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Julia Hiser Berry.
Thomas was a football announcer with Ridgewood High School in West Lafayette, Ohio for 34 years. Thomas was a sports fan; he loved golfing, the Atlanta Braves and the Ohio State Buckeyes; he also loved to travel, sing karaoke and storytelling.
Thomas was retired from Lyle Industries.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carolyn Cabot Berry of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Patti and Jeff Hess of Spring, TX. and Peggy and Jeffery Klaetsch of Huntington Beach, CA; sister, Catherine Wegener of Coshocton; grandchildren, Kyle (Katie) Hess, Christopher (Jade) Hess, Shelby Klaetsch and Kiefer Klaetsch; great-grandchildren, Miles Hess and Tara Hess; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Chaplain Ken Waddell officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 519 East 4th St. Chattanooga, TN 37403.
