William Young Ensley

Mr. William Ensley, 73, of Dalton, passed away Monday September 7, 2015. He was the son of the late Carl Ensley and was preceded in death by a brother George Ensley. William was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for E & B Carpets and retired with Shaw after many years of service. William loved sports and especially NASCAR. He is survived by his wife, Nora Brown Ensley of the residence, son, Anthony Ensley of Chatsworth; mother, Tressie Mae Ensley of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Ronnie Hammons of Dalton and Beverly and Steve Layman of Gruetli Laager, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl Jr. and Marca E. Ensley and Perry Ensley all of Dalton, Ronnie and Janie Ensley of Chatsworth; sister-in-law, Eunice Ensley of Chatsworth; granddaughter, Ashton Kate Ensley; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar Beason officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
