Mary Lou Gobble

Mrs. Mary Lou Laster Gobble, 78, of Dalton, passed away Friday September 11, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late, John T. and Janie Cleary Laster and was preceded in death by her husband A. J. Gobble.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Susan Hammontree of Knoxville and Gary and Shannon Hammontree of Ringgold; sister, Bobbie Jo Rolen of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Lois Laster and Jack and Brenda Laster all of Dalton; grandchildren, Tera (Stephen) Green, Tabatha (Jason) Whittle, Chris (Scarlett) Brown, Andy Evans, Blake (Barbara) Evans, Nicholas Hammontree, Samantha Harris and Shelby Hammontree; great-great grandchildren, Anderson Whittle, Jackson Whittle, Madison Whittle, Charlie Whittle, Renner Green, Liam Whittle, Brody Evans and Beu Evans; special friends, Eddie and Faith Hood of Dalton and Dennis and Cindy Bennett of Williamsport, PA; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Dr. John Looper and the Rev. Frank Laster officiating.

Burial will follow in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 until 6 p.m.
