Mr. Wallace C. “Wally” Bryant, 92, of Dalton, died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He was the son of the late, John A. and Nellie Pack Bryant and was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Doris McArthur Bryant in 1989; sister, Mildred Brackett; brothers, John A. Bryant, Ed Bryant and Ben Bryant.
Wally is survived by his wife, Hilda S. Bryant of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Harlan Godfrey of Dalton, Kaye Bryant Brown of Atlanta; grandchildren and thier spouses, Tarre and Pete Green of Atlanta, Dawn and Scott Sellers of Dalton, Kara and Doug Allen of Atlanta, Chad and Kyle Brown of New York and Holli Kaye Brown of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Payton Sellers, Hutton Sellers, Worthington Sellers, Barrett Green, Connor Green, Adeline Allen, Portman Allen, Myers Allen, Ryan Brown, Dillon Brown and Emily Kaye-Marie Brown; special and dear friends, Bob and Margie Painter of Dalton, Bobby and Candace Painter of Lafayette; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 P.M. in the
chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt Evans officiating.
Entombment will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from noon until the funeral hour at 2 P.M.
The family requests that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to Rock Bridge Community Church Building Fund, 100 W. Gordon St., Dalton, Ga. 30720 or to The Salvation Army, 1101 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton, Ga. 30720.
