Wylie Kendall was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. Utmost, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything and was a doting Papaw. A special thanks to Amelia, alias Little Bit, a family cat. He nursed her from a kitten, and talked about how much he loved her. He said, “I never thought I would love a cat, but I loved Little Bit." She gave him love and joy every day. When not spending time in his lap, she was following him around, talking to him, helping him with dishes, etc. He loved her, and she loved him back. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 8th, in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
