Roy John Seay Jr.

Mr. Roy John Seay Jr., 84, of Dalton passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was the son of the late Roy and Vick Seay of Dalton. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Jackie Seay, Pearl Chubb and Opal Chubb and his brother, Willard Seay. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Seay is survived by his wife, Faye Nealey Seay of Dalton; children, Carol and John Hicks of Dalton and Diane and Don Shankles of Ringgold; grandchildren, Kelly (Jeremy) Coran, Kathy (Eric) Chadwick, Stephen (Bekka) Pendergrass, and Tiffany Pendergrass; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Frances Nealey of Dalton, Margaret Beckham of Goose Creek S.C., Martha Westbury of Goose Creek S.C., and Jo Ann Thompson of Chatsworth; brother, Frank Seay of Dalton; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 pm in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Hooker officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 9 pm at Love Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery with Stephen Pendergrass, Steven Nealey, Eric Chadwick, Jeremy Coran, Reese Chadwick, and Riley Chadwick serving as pallbearers.
