Pauline Stone, 89, passed away Wednesday, October 21. She was a resident at Morningside of Dalton Assisted Living. Although born in Cleveland, TN, Pauline lived almost her entire life here in Dalton. Her greatest joy was cooking for her family, especially her two grandsons Ryan and Seth whom she referred to as her “Pride and Joy”. She also had a deep love and compassion for animals (particularly kitties) which she passed on to her daughter.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Fred L. Stone, and is survived by her daughter and “favorite” son-in-law, Freida and Alan Talley of Dalton, grandsons Ryan (Allison) Talley, Seth (Alisha) Talley, and great granddaughters Rylan and Emery Talley, all of Canton. She is also survived by her beloved friend and honorary daughter, Becky Carpenter of Tunnel Hill and her Morningside of Dalton family- especially Josh Thompson, Toni Thompson, and Pam Whaley all of whom she dearly loved.
Funeral services for Pauline will be at 2 PM on Friday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Ron McKinney officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 11 AM until 2 PM.
