Margaret Cargal

Mrs. Margaret Akins Cargal, 84, of Dalton passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Ollie and Vinnie Tate Akins and was preceded in death by her sister, Joann Langston.

Margaret was a member of Mt. Rachel Baptist Church for 72 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Joe Cargal Sr. of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Joe Cargal Jr. and Amanda of Dalton; granddaughters, Mackenzie Cargal and Charleigh Cargal; brother and sister-in-law, Ollie Newell and Virginia Akins of Dalton; brother-in-law, Lloyd Langston of Dalton; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Shane Curtis and Scott Bates officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 12 to 2 p.m.

The family requests that flowers please be omitted and that memorials be made to the Mt. Rachel Baptist Church Building Fund, 332 Haigmill Road, Dalton Ga. 30720.
