Robert Lloyd Holtzclaw

Mr. Robert Lloyd “Pawpaw” Holtzclaw, 67, of Dalton passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late James and Evelyn Holtzclaw and was preceded in death by his son, James Lloyd Holtzclaw and brother, James Larry Holtzclaw.

Lloyd was a member of Grace Bible Church and was retired from the City of Dalton.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Louise McNeese Holtzclaw of Dalton; daughter, LaRonda Byram of Dalton; brother and sisters-in-law, Phillip and Betty Holtzclaw of Dalton and Jean Webb of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Katherine Welch, Annabelle Whittenburg, and Hannah Holtzclaw; great-grandchildren, Eric James Welch and Jackson Rhyns Welch; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Lloyd will be held at 1 PM on Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Clark and Rev. Billy Willis, Sr. officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM.

The family requests that flowers please be omitted and memorials made to Grace Bible Church, 2599 Leonard Bridge Rd. Chatsworth, Ga 30705.
