Dixie Cochran

Mrs. Dixie D. Evans Cochran, 86, of Dalton, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late, Horace and Mae Cosby Evans and was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Cochran; brothers, Horace W. Evans, Jr., Raygan C. Evans and Jesse P. Evans; sister, Dora Stevens.
Dixie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Kathryn Cochran of Dalton, Thomas Hall of Los Angeles, CA. and Bobby and Elaine Evans of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Genevie and Joe Driskell of Mobile, AL., Louise and Tom McCoy of Smyrna, GA. and Betty and Frank Shields of Melbourne, FL.; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Clayton Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Tuesday from 5 to 7 P.M.
