Ralph Whaley Sr.

Mr. Ralph Whaley, Sr., 87, of Dalton passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was the son of the late George and Rosa Bell Brock Whaley and was preceded in death by his son Ralph “Eddie” Whaley, Jr. and sisters, Johnnie Brock, Betty Jo Johnson and Lucille Hair.

Ralph was a member of Riverbend Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Schneider Whaley of Dalton; grandsons, Brandon Whaley (wife, Rebekah) and Kevin Whaley; sisters, Catherine Stafford, Wylene Elliot-Kenemore and Inez Bagley all of Dalton; special niece, Judy Earnhart of Rocky Face; other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Tyler Gilreath and Roger MacKenzie officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends before the service on Thursday from 11 AM until 1 PM.
