Audrey Edwards Burgess

Mrs. Audrey Edwards Burgess, 94, of Dalton passed away January 25, 2016 at Morningside.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cecil Burgess, son, Nolan Burgess, and brother, B.F. Edwards.
Audrey was a very active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shermon and Margaret Burgess of Jacksonville, Fl; daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Mike Petty of Collierville, Tn; brothers and sister-in-law, Floyd and Sarah Jane Edwards of Dalton and Ernest Edwards of Dalton; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Leslie Daniels officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 until 11 in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 901 Veterans Drive Dalton, Ga 30721.
