Annie Mae Ridley, 94, of Chatsworth passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Barney and Ida Brown and was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Hershel H. Ridley; brother, Leonard Brown; granddaughter, Elaine Vineyard Cline, and great-grandson, Jack Thomas Ridley. Mrs. Ridley was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and was a volunteer with The Murray County Senior Center for 30 plus years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lamar and Linda Vineyard of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Carolyn Ridley of Chatsworth; granddaughter, Deniece Ridley, grandson, Doyle Ray Ridley and Erika, great-granddaughter, Caroline Ridley all of Chatsworth; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Brown Cantrell, Grace Starks, Virginia Ridley; brother-in-law, Tommy Ridley and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Darey Kittle and Tim Howard officiating. Burial will be in New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery in Chatsworth. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. Family will be receiving flowers of anyone willing to make a donation in her memory may do so to The Murray County Senior Center, 820 GI Maddow Parkway, Chatsworth Ga. 30705 or to RossWoods Adult Day Services, 1402 Walston Avenue, Dalton Ga. 30720.
