Nell Holley

Mrs. Nell Bell Holley, 83, of Cohutta, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late, Samuel Walton and Mattie Sumner Bell and was preceded in death by her son, Emmett William Holley, Jr on May 20, 2914 and her sisters and brothers.

Nell was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Bill Holley of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and Eugene Gray of Marietta, GA; daughter-in-law, Ellen Holley of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Ethan (Sarah) Gray, Bryant Gray, William Holley and Jessica Truelove; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday from the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with the Rev. Darey Kittle and the Rev. Jim Brinkley officiating.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and contributions be made to Salem Baptist Church Building fund, 1448 Pleasant Grove Dr., Dalton GA 30721.
