Don Haney

Mr. Don Haney, 60, of Tunnel Hill passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016.

Don was born November 28, 1955 in Marietta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, George Donald Haney, Sr. of Smyrna, Georgia. Don was the owner of Professional Fence and loved playing golf.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Garner Haney; son, Ryan Haney of Dallas, Texas; mother, Shirley Haney of Smyrna, Ga.; brother, Scott Haney (Marie Cotton) of Smyrna, GA; sisters,Carol Haney Godfrey (Jeff) of Smyrna, GA; and Emily Haney Marx of Midlothian, VA; mother-in-law, Betty Garner of Warthen, GA, sister-in-law, Melissa Garner (Eric) of Tennille, GA; uncle, William L. “Buddy” Hulsey (Pat) of Woodstock, GA; aunt, Lyn Dewsnap of Dalton, GA; niece, Victoria Godfrey; nephews, Scott Haney, Jr., Cameron Hughes, Luke Haney, Deric Garner, Ian Garner.

A service to celebrate the life of Don Haney will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Dalton.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the hour of the service in the Atrium of First Baptist Church of Dalton.
