Edward "Edd" Eaton

Mr. Edward “Edd” A. Eaton, 86, of Dalton, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.
He was the son of the late, Z.H. and Ethel Cook Eaton and was preceded in death by his brother, Obilee Eaton and his sister, Linnie Mae Slaughter.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in W.W.II.
Edd is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Frances Mullinax Eaton of Dalton;
daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Greg Deverell, Carol and Lamar Jordan all of Dalton; son, Thomas Eaton of Dalton; grandchildren (whom called Edd “Pap”), Jason and Paige Eaton, Samuel and Ashley Eaton, Martha and Eric Thacker, Bryan and Novi Deverell; great-grandchildren, Tyler Eaton, Hannah Eaton, Haley Eaton, J. T. Eaton, Sawyer Eaton and Matthew Eaton; sister, Ann Jordan of Dalton and Virginia Gilbreath of Arizona; brothers, Vernon Eaton, Ray Eaton, Paul Eaton and Hill Eaton, Jr. all of Dalton, Clarence Eaton of Spring Hill, FL.; special niece, Jennifer Kirkland; special nephew, Sean Vaughn; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday at 3 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Bailey officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 5 to 8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 1735 Riverbend Rd., Dalton, Ga. 30721.
