Narvel "Pat" Godwin

Mr. Narvel “Pat” Godwin, 87, of Dalton, passed away Saturday May 2, 2009.
He was the son of the late John Noye and Mae Powell Godwin and was preceded in death by his wife Ruth McCarley Godwin; son, Jimmy Godwin; brothers, Johnny, Jay, Clark, Bill and Russell.
Pat is survived by his children, Hurley Godwin, Roy Godwin, Melvin Godwin, Annett Godwin and Lynn Brand; sister, Rosetta Flowers; brother Stan Godwin; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Tuesday from the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Hocker officiating.
Burial will be in Tilton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday from 6 to 8 P. M.
