Mr. Ralph Redwine, 79, of Dalton passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his residence. He was the son of the late Tom and Vary Greeson Redwine and was preceded in death by his son, Ralph Redwine, Jr; sister, Zelma "Tot" Massingill; son-in-law, Shane Southerland; brothers-in-law, Albert Brady and Ray Kirby. Ralph was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Sugar Valley. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He was a truck driver for over forty years. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Cassie Whitaker Redwine of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Amanda Redwine and Gene and Melissa Redwine; daughters and son-in-law, Robin Southerland and Annette and Dwight Dodson all of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Junior and Kim Redwine of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sybil Brady of Dalton, Nancy Kirby of Sugar Valley, Pat and Michael Muse of Resaca, Audrey and Bill Wheat of Sugar Valley and Gene Massingill of Dalton; grandchildren, Natasha (Andrew) Bennett, Tony (Nikki) Redwine, Tiffany (Bryan) Lucas, Justina (Chris) Wood, Kayla Southerland, Airmen Kevin "Bobo" ( Mckayla) Southerland, Chris (Hayley) Dodson, Kyle Southerland, Kaci Southerland and Jeffery Bagwell; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special friends, Jeff Watson, Tony Warren and James Gourley. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Delmar Davenport, the Rev. James Gourley and the Rev. Donny Mattila officiating. Burial will follow in Redwine Cove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Wednesday after 5 p.m. Words of comfort may be sent to the family at www.lovefuneralhomega.com.
