Shirley Ann Smith Kinsey

Mrs. Shirley Ann Smith Kinsey, 77, of Dalton passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was the daughter if the late, Clifford and Effie Underwood Smith and was preceded in death by her husband John A. Kinsey, Jr and sisters, Frances Richmond, Jean Smith, Sara Beth Elsberry and Dorothy Booker. Shirley was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and caregiver. Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kaye and Wendell Parker of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, John A. Kinsey III and Samantha of Dalton; brother, Derryl and Tullah Smith of Dalton; grandchildren, Matthew Tyler Parker and Maranda Katherine Ann Parker; nieces and nephews; special friends, Terry Summy, Myrinda Blalock and Micky Norton all of Dalton. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Brother Frank H. Booker officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
