Flora Patton

Mrs. Flora L. “Cotton” Patton, 78, of Dalton, went to be with her Lord, Monday,
May 4, 2009.
She worked for Lawtex/Springs Industries for 48 years; was a member of the Midway Baptist Church and she was a prayer warrior.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband, Ernest Patton; mother, Mamie Morgan; brother, Billy Joe Morgan; sister, Willie Mae Crawford.
Flora is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Leanna Patton of Rocky Face; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mitch Smith of Chatsworth; grandchildren, April and Dewayne Powers, Chris Smith and Stephanie Smith all of Chatsworth, Beau Patton and Blake Patton of Rocky Face; great-grandchildren, Savannah Smith, Katelyn Smith and Anslei Powers all of Chatsworth; brother-in-law, Hillard Crawford of Dalton; sisters-in-law, Helen Morgan of Gaylesville, GA., Ethel Jones of Chatsworth and Arbell Patton of Dalton.
Services will be Thursday at 1 P.M. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Patterson officiating.
Burial will be in the Center Valley Cemetery in Murray County.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M.
