Opal Forrester Poindexter

Mrs. Opal Forrester Poindexter, 83, of Dalton, died Tuesday, April 4, 2005 in Hamilton Medical Center.
She was the daughter of the late, Claude and Lucille Thomason Forrester and was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Poindexter; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Veda Poindexter.
Opal was a member of the Highland Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jimmy Woods of Dalton.
Sister, Katherine Green of Dalton.
Grandchildren, Elaine and Ricky Treglown of Rome, GA., Bryan and Mindy Poindexter of Cincinnati, OH., Lori and Darryl Willis of Chatsworth, Suzanne and Brian Starks of Dalton, Barry and Heather Woods of Chatsworth, Brad and Shannon Woods of Dalton.
Great-Grandchildren, Amber and Caleb Kresl, Shawn Treglown, Corey and Kristen Poindexter, Cody Coots, Hannah Starks, Brady and Bridget Woods.
Step Great-Grandchildren, Mariah and Madison Willis, Hunter Starks.
Nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 4 P.M. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with Barry Gilreath, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love FUneral Home Wednesday from 6 to 9 P.M.
