Charles Robertson

Mr. Charles F. Robertson, 87, of Dalton passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Parrott; brother, Vernon Robertson and his sister and brother-in-law, Saranne and William Jones.

Charles was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Puerto Rico. He attended Georgia Tech and was a member of Dalton First United Methodist Church.

He was most fondly remembered as the owner and operator of the Check Rite Grocery Store.

Charles is survived by his sister-in-law, Martha Ann Robertson, special friend, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday in the Chapel of Dalton First United Methodist Church with Dr. Robin Lindsey officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in front of the Chapel on Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m.
