Christine Hicks

Mrs. Christine "Teen" Smith Hicks, 81, of Dalton passed away Sunday May 22, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late, Ben and Agnes Cox Smith and was preceded in death by her brothers, Felton Smith and John Smith; sisters, Marybell Eslinger and Glenna Gribble. Teen loved babysitting and she spent her life babysitting and raising everyone's children. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Janice Turner of Rocky Face; brothers and sister-in-law, Benny and Glenda Smith of Dalton and Ralph Smith of Macon, GA; sister, Betty Payne of Dalton; grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael) Ferguson, Stacie (Matt) Phillips and Jason Sparks; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Brayden, Lillie Reese, Ella Kate, Judson and Jackson; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bagley and Matt Phillips officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. At Christine's request, casual attire is requested at the memorial service and visitation.
