Our Tribute To Dad

On June the 4th, 2016 God took our precious loved one out of his pain and misery. Born on July 22, 1931, there was never a better father, husband, or grandfather than our Jim. He loved his wife, children, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an honest, hard-working man who always seen the good in everyone.

He leaves to mourns, his wife, Joyce Ellis Blevins, his four children and their spouses, Ronnie & Cathy, Gary & Ivy, Peggy & Brian, and Steve & Debi. Six grand-children he loved so much, Josh & Jenna, Dustin & Katy, SueEllen & Cesar, Jennie & Kevin, Megan & Jamie, & Kelsey. Five great-grandchildren, Harper, Katie, Alexia, Tony,& Nicholas, one sister, Ruby Crabtree, one brother-in-law who was more like a brother to him, Kerry Dale Ellis along with a host of nieces and nephews. Daddy had so many talents, it would be hard to mention them all. Those of them who preceded him in death are a son, Mikey Blevins, parents, Claude and Viola Blevins, in-laws G.E. & Maxine Ellis, siblings Claude, Jr. & Donna Blevins, Ralph & Eunice Blevins, Warner & Ruth Stephens, and the late Amos Crabtree.

We're so thankful for all the memories. We will feel his presence every day. We loved him enough to give him back to Jesus. We will see you again one day sweetheart. Goodbye for now dear one.
