Thomas Richard Oliver

Mr. Thomas Richard Oliver 57, of Dalton, passed away Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.
Richard was born June 20, 1959 to the late Thomas Milburn Oliver and Cora Nell Dawson Oliver.
He was a sports fan; his favorite teams were the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. His first love was his grandchildren; he would drop everything to spend time with them.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Chris Oliver and his fiancé Heather Woods of Dalton, Kevin and Katie Oliver of Tunnel Hill and Scott Oliver and his fiancé Tiffany Hamrick of Resaca; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve Oliver of Dalton, Garry Oliver of Eton, Kerry and Joanna Oliver of Jasper and Tracy and Valarie Oliver of PA; 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Dunagan Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
