Jean Mcmahan

Mrs. Jean Carlock McMahan, 84, of Rocky Face, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was born November 15, 1931 and was an employee of Lawtex Industries for 40 plus years.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Ruth Hammontree Carlock; her brothers, Troy, Roy, Jim and John Carlock and a sister Dixie Biesack.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David McMahan of Rocky Face; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Trammell and Irene McMahan of Townsend, TN; sisters-in-law, Beth Carlock and Katherine McMahan both of Dalton; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Carlock officiating.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from Noon until the funeral at 2 p.m.

Burial will be in Dunagan Cemetery.
