Robert B. Rollins

Mr. Robert B. Rollins, 82, of Ellijay, GA and formerly of Dalton, GA. and Chicago, IL. passed away, Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in Ellijay.
He was the son of the late, William Goodwin Rollins and Ruby Turner Rollins Poe and was preceded in death by his wives, Joanne Branda Rollins and Dolores Lark Rollins.
Robert was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was an avid golfer, loved to fish and cook, and loved to just get in the car and ride.
Robert is survived by his children and their spouses, Larry and Camille Rollins, Rick and Jennie Rollins all of Illinois, Ron and Cindy Rollins of Ohio, Renée and Jody Merrill of Ellijay, Frank and Leone Ryan, Keith and Nina Ryan, Tim Ryan all of Illinois; sisters and brother and their spouses, Lucille R. McCaleb of Dalton, Waunita R. and Edd Babb of Chatsworth, Willena R. and Moses Ballew of Cleveland, TN., Sandra P. and Doug Ellis of Chatsworth, Wayne and Leota Rollins of Mableton, GA., Eulene P. Talley and Marie P. and Tommy Brown all of Dalton; 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Saturday at Love Funeral Home with the Rev. James Boyd and the Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Saturday from 11 A. M. until the funeral hour.
Burial will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, IL.
