Rubie Gray Hice

Mrs. Rubie Gray Hice, 67, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Lena Crowe Gray and was preceded in death by her brothers, Hershel Gray and Doyle Gray.
Rubie was a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. She was a member of the Dalton First Baptist Church and the Dot Reich Sunday School Class. She had a long career in the banking industry, working in Atlanta and in Dalton at Dalton Whitfield Bank and First Bank of Dalton. Rubie was a 1960 graduate of Lafayette High School, and love to work in her flower garden.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert Hice of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Jen Hice of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Christine Gray Cantrell of Huntsville, AL., Carolyn Gray of Dalton and Jackie Gray Ebright and Ron of Springfield, TN.; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Tuesday at the Dalton First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens with Brian Doran, Doyle Pritchett, Roy Reeves, Greg Gray, Mike Gray, Freemont Priest and Bob Roper serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Monday after 4 P.M.
