Edgar B. Howell, Jr.

Mr. Edgar B. Howell, Jr., 81, of Dalton, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
He was the son of the late, Edgar B. Howell, Sr. and Sarah Louise Matthews Howell and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Brand Howell.
Edgar and Mary moved to Dalton in 1954, where Edgar worked for Georgia Power for 44 years.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Walter Brand Howell and Rhonda of Henagar, AL.; brother, John Wesley Howell of Rome, GA.; grandchildren, Walter Boyd Howell, William Howell, Sara Howell and her fiancé, Kevin York; great-grandchild, Taylor York.
A graveside memorial service will be at 2 P. M. Thursday at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday at Love Funeral Home from 5 to 8 P.M.
