Brenda Newman

Mrs. Brenda Patty Newman, 72, of Dalton passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Patty, husband William Newman and a son-in-law Ahmet Semratedu.

Brenda was a parishioner at St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Christie Oliver and Amy and Scott Ray all of Chatsworth, Michell and Dean Jones of Petersburg, KY and Brian and Christine Tallent of Pembroke, GA; mother, Geneva Albertson of Dalton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Mike Tankesley and Barbara and Newtie Lusk of Dalton; sister-in-law, Brenda Newman Eisenhart of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Christopher Semratedu, Dawson Oliver, Alex Semratedu, Ashlee Jones, Rylee Wimpy and Liam Tallent; special nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Monday from St. Mark's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Beth Royal officiating.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
