Mrs. Sue Ray Etheridge, 58, of Chatsworth passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late, John W. Ray, II and Fannie Armstrong Ray and was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Katrina Leigh Etheridge and many loved ones including her nephew Daniel Morgan and her brother-in-law, Troy Isenhower. Sue was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a friend to all. She had a strong baptist faith and was a devoted G.G. to Irelynd, Austin and Hallie. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jackie Lamar Etheridge of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Christy and Miles Kelly of Chatsworth and Sabrina and Salter Stainton of Chatsworth; sister, Diane Lawson of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, John Ray III and Tanya of Jacksonville FL; grandchildren, Austin Stainton, Hallie Stainton and Irelynd Stainton; many many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; special dog, Jake. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Armstrong and the Rev. Barry Brock officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In honor of Mrs. Etheridge the family will wear pink for her visitation and funeral services, all family and friends are asked to join the family in this honor.
