David "Punkin" Gross

Mr. David “Punkin” Gross, 77, of Dalton passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

He was the son of the late C. Hugh Gross and Alice Henry Gross.
Punkin was a 1957 graduate of Dalton High School and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was retired from Mohawk Industries.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lana Gross; Sister, Nancy Casteel of Rocky Face; brother, Doug Gross of Rocky Face; step-children; step great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be on Saturday, October 29, at Noon in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Laster officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 AM until the funeral hour at Noon.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Dalton High School Quarterback Club, P.O. Box 372, Dalton, GA 30722-0372.
