Claudell Howell Beckler Woods

Mrs. Claudell Howell Beckler Woods, 96, of Dalton died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in Chattanooga, TN.

Claudell was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Dalton and retired from Beckler Carpet, Inc. after 65 years.

She was the daughter of the late, Harold and Pearl Howell and was preceded in death by her first husband, Burch Beckler, sister, Ruby Howell Thorne and her brother, Earl Howell.

Claudell is survived by her husband, H.P. Woods, SR. of Simpsonville, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Lyndal and Glenn Masters of Rocky Face; son, Randy Beckler of Dalton; Beth Headrick Beckler of Dalton; Step-son and daughter-in-law, H.P. “Chip” Woods, JR. and Gail of Simpsonville,SC; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Troy Lee Stone of Dalton; Grandchildren, Bryan and Jaime Beckler of Dalton, Mark and Greta Beckler of Ringgold, GA, step-grandchildren, Matt Woods of Simpsonville, Amy and Tyler Civils of Greenville, SC; 8 SPECIAL great-grandchildren and SPECIAL friends and caretakers, Lynda and Terry Allen; nieces and nephews.

The service will be held Sunday at 3 P.M. in Dalton at Central Church of Christ with Ross Jordan officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 until 3 PM at the church.
