Mrs. Inez Cochran, 96, of Dalton passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Hamilton Medical Center.
She was born on June 13, 1920 in Whitfield County to the late, Thomas and Elizabeth Gilbert Manley.
Inez was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years.
She always loved working in her garden growing vegetables and flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Inez is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Yvonne Cochran of Norcross, GA; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Don and Joan Cochran of Yuba City, California; granddaughter, Sonia Scott of Dalton; great-grandson, Murphy (Tiffany) Scott of Dalton; great-great-grandson, Jonathan Scott; special nieces, Sherri Pass and Brenda Babb; other nieces and nephews; special friends, Sally Bramlett, Larry Young and Linda Potts.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Cantrell officiating.
Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m.
