Stan Skotnicki

Mr. Stan Skotnicki, 94, of Dalton passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Morningside Assisted Living.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Skotnicki.

Stan was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived his daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Scott Austin of Dalton; grandchildren, Scott Austin, Darren ( Mardee) Austin and Russ (Jana) Austin; great-grandchildren, Evan Austin, C.J. Austin, Brennon Austin and Blake Austin; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Morningside Assisted Living for their care and compassion.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Parlor of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron McKinney officiating.

Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from Noon until the funeral time at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kinsey Drive Baptist Church, 2626 Kinsey Drive S.W. Dalton, GA 30720.
