Brenda Whitmire

Mrs. Brenda Greeson Whitmire, 70, of Dalton went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tac and Lou Greeson; brother, Kenneth Greeson; sister-in-law, Ann Epperson and a nephew, Barry Greeson. Brenda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jerry Whitmire of Dalton; daughter, Vickie Amos of Rocky Face; step daughter, Kim (Craig) Braswell of Chattanooga; three granddaughters she raised as her own, Beth (Solomon) Douhne, Tara (Brandon) Sane, and Amber Amos all of Dalton; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wilson and Nick Wilson both of Chattanooga; great grandchildren, Zander Douhne, Abram Douhne, Jaden Poteet, Analeigh Poteet, Braelynne Sane, Asher Amos, and Oliver Amos all of Dalton; nieces and nephews; special family friend, Nancy McCurdy of Tunnel Hill. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 PM in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Beach officiating. The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 until 8.
