Jane Daniel Nettles

Mrs. Jane Daniel Nettles, 96, of Dalton passed away January 25, 2017.
She was a life-long educator retiring from Dalton Public Schools and was a member of Dalton First Baptist Church.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Bill Nettles; parents, Claude and Maude Daniel; sister, Ann Griffen; brother, Henry Daniel.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill Nettles and Terry Terens of Denver, CO; daughter and son-in-law Jan and Walter Parsons of Dalton; grandchildren, Ken Nettles, Jennifer (Brian) Jones, Lesley (Sal) Zarzana, and Mark Parsons; great grandchildren, Calloway Nettles, Charles Nettles, Sydney Jones, Morgan Jones, Anna Lee Zarzana, Ava Zarzana, and John Zarzana.
Funeral services for Jane will be held at 12:00 on Saturday in the Chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Cannon officiating.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rockmart, GA.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 until 12 in the atrium of the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church Children’s Learning Center.
