Sarah Ellen Caldwell Barnard

Sarah Ellen Caldwell Barnard, 88, of Rocky Face passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 64 years, George Barnard; parents, Hester and Nell Caldwell; brothers, H.R., Jim and Ben Caldwell; sister, Matie Swinney.

She was a member of Kinsey Drive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Tom) Kinnamon of Chatsworth; son, Ricky (MaryAnn) Barnard of Rocky Face; brother, Bill Caldwell of Varnell; grandchildren, Michelle Kinnamon, Khale (Courtney) Kinnamon, Scott (Heather) Kinnamon, Samantha (Joey) Splawn, Jennifer (Scott) Dubee, and Jesse Barnard; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday at 2 PM in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron McKinney officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Caldwell, Robert Caldwell, Martin Caldwell, Harold Williams, Kyle Guntharp, and Jimmy Patterson.

Burial will be in Varnell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 until 8 PM.
